As May quickly approaches so does one so does one time of the year most students dread- AP season. The final exams which students have prepped all year for and provides them with a college credit. Graded on a scale of 1-5 where 3 is passing and 5 shows an extreme proficiency in the subject. Taking place over two weeks from May 5-16, the exam season kicks off with AP Biology, Latin, Microeconomics, and European History. These exams will either take place in the morning from 8am or in the afternoon at 12, with each exam typically taking around 3 hours. Although, for some students, there are also other events taking place on the day of their exam such as NHD. These students will need to contact Mrs.Prom who will reschedule their exams to a later date. Typically, these exams take place from May 19- 23, structured differently with different questions to ensure the exam’s security.
Certain AP’s are also structured differently as some are typically worked on throughout the year. Those exams include AP Seminar, AP research, and AP computer science principles. The deadline to submit the required tasks for these classes is April 30 by 11:59 pm. Below is the schedule for the AP exams which can also be found on college board along with the makeup dates.
