Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, is a tale of a fictional world in which firefighters burn things; books specifically. In Bradbury’s novel, the main character Guy Montag is a submissive firefighter that does what he is told to; burn books.

This all changes when a young girl, Clarisse McClellan, makes him question life’s purpose. Being told that he is supposed to burn books as a profession, goes awry; as he starts to ask why he is burning books . How will the story end for Guy Montag? A once average husband and citizen; who got his world flipped upside down by  Clarisse.

Rising freshman will be in for a treat in this fictional novel about a firefighter who discovers books.
