What a game! Sadly our Noles took a loss last night against Creekside Seminoles. After 4 quarters of grinding the score was 32-0. Our boys tried their hardest last night but the score didn’t stop them from giving it their all!

Before the game one of our wide receivers Chase McClellan, junior shares “my mindset during the game is to make sure to stay focused and that you don’t get distracted by the audience.” While Antrell Armstrong, junior, and one of our safety defensive players shares “My mindset during the game is not being scared, no matter how big the other boys are and definitely going 100 percent.”

Football players need time to themselves to be able to perform their best. Armstrong shares “What I do before the game is pray and get right with the Lord pregame.” McClellan says “ I just listen to music and block the world to lock in for the game.”

Some highlights of the game is seeing Brandon Simms get a few tackles during the 3rd quarter. Then we have Austin P. our star kicker trying his best and having his kickoff land a good few yards. Even though the score was not what they wanted, the team still did not stop trying.

At the end of 2nd quarter before halftime Creekside had gotten a penalty during their 4th down. Omari Griffin showed the audience he didn’t give up and ran 9 yards to try to help his team last night. What a persistent player!

Towards the beginning of 4th quarter we see J’len Chaplin run 58 yards last night.

Even though last night wasn’t the night the boys dreamed of, they did try their best. This just means Mondays practice will go harder so for the next games they come back better than ever.

Armstrong says “After a loss we look forward to Monday’s practice and to work harder and fix the mistakes we made in the game we lost” and McClellan shares “ You know, you gotta just go harder at practice. We don’t want to get that feeling again.” That was the game last night on August 22 at 7:30 against Creekside. There is always next time!
