It is once again the time of the year when the Seminole county fair comes to town, bringing excitement, great food, bright lights, and the perfect place for students to hangout. The county fair runs for 10 days from Friday, March 27 through Sunday, April 5th 2026 at 440 Hickman Drive Sanford, Fl 32771. Visitors who attend the fair can experience thrilling rides that light up the sky and also enjoy the delicious treats the fair offers. They can walk through the lively booths, listen to upbeat music, and take part in traditions that make the fair an enjoyable experience each year. With so many activities and attractions, the fair quickly becomes a place for excitement and for people of all ages in the county.
The county fair offers many thrilling rides to people such as the ferris wheel, carousel, bumper cars, rollercoasters, and other enjoyable rides for both children and teens, making the experience fun and exciting. Students who visited the fair share their experience riding the thrilling rides. One such student, Nazeeha Kazi, shares: ”The rides were really fun. We spammed a few of the same ones, and the claw was definitely my favorite, but I think fireball was THE hardest one, and the zipper took me out.” Ultimately, the rides were amazing and fun to enjoy for everyone.
Other than the rides, the most exciting part is the wide variety of food available for everyone to enjoy. As visitors walk through the fair grounds, the can smell the amazing aromas of the food: from funnel cakes dusted in sweet sugary goodness, to crispy french fries, burgers, pizzas and many more delicious foods, there is something delicious for all visitors to enjoy during the fair. Students who visited shared their experience in regards the food. A Student Avishka Thirupathi, an IB sophomore says: “The food at the fair was delicious, I tried many different foods and they were all delicious.” This shows it was not just the variety of food that is present there, but also the amazing quality of it there that makesthe fair extremely enjoyable.
