As the end of 2025 slowly approaches, 2026 offers a lot of new opportunities and events to look forward to! A whole year of upcoming concerts and festivals is happening next year that many students can hardly wait for. With Florida often receiving the curse of artists skipping over our state, there are still many on the way.
In the past year, some amazing artists performed here, right at home. This August, the Weeknd performed for his After Hours til Dawn tour in Orlando at the Camping World Stadium and Miami at Hard Rock Stadium; While Billie Eilish just recently performed for her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour in October with three days in Miami at the Kaseya Center and one show at the Kia Center in Orlando.
An exciting concert for many happening in the summer of 2026 is Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine tour! She will perform at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida on June 30th, July 2nd, and July 3rd. Although Sunrise is not a major city as expected like Orlando or Miami, the city suits her album name with the sun. The last time this popstar went on tour was in 2019 for her Sweetener World Tour and the stages have missed her. Through the past years, she has been busy with filming the hit movie Wicked where she stars as Glinda, along with the second part of Wicked coming to theaters soon. Along with her newest album, Eternal Sunshine, keeping her busy. Her tour starts next summer and we’re excited to see her return to performing!
Another recently announced tour coming to Florida is the KPOP girl group TWICE with their <THIS IS FOR> WORLD TOUR. TWICE has been a staple in the kpop industry for a decade now and this tour marks their sixth world tour to date. They will be visiting Orlando at the Kia Center on March 27th and the 28th. For the first time, TWICE will perform on a 360-degree stage, allowing fans to see from every angle. With their first two shows in Seoul selling out, they are currently on tour throughout Asia and will begin the North American part of the tour in January of the new year. “It’s my first TWICE concert so I’m very excited!” Senior Brianna Bulow says.“I’m most excited for the song Mars or Cry For Me, and I can’t wait to see members Jihyo, Momo, and Mina. I hope the groups Xlov or Xikers come to Florida next.”
A big artist returning to Florida in March is Lady Gaga with a rescheduled performance of her MAYHEM Ball show. On September 3rd of 2025, Gaga cancelled her concert last minute due to vocal strain. So, on March 13th of 2026 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, she will be coming back to make up for the cancelled show, honoring the tickets bought for the original for the new date and allowing refunds for those unable to make it.
Although there are no Florida dates announced, The Neighbourhood just recently announced their world tour for 2026! They will be touring for their fourth upcoming album ((((ultraSOUNDS)))) releasing on November 14th. Ticket sales began November 7th so there is still time for those interested in seeing them in another state. Senior Prisni Nawala shares her disappointment: “I wish they had a Florida date or at least an Atlanta one that’s close. Even though I don’t really go to concerts like that, I think them calling it a world tour and not coming to Florida or Georgia is crazy.”
Some tickets may be sold out for certain shows, but make sure to always check out reseller tickets or when the artist will go on tour next!
