Recently, Swedish popstar Zara Larsson has been popular on social media for her Midnight Sun Tour. Fans have uploaded numerous videos of her choreography to her original song “Midnight Sun,” showcasing the pop star’s talent. In many videos, Larsson shows off her breath control skills, as her background dancers lift her up while holding the microphone up to her, all while she sings the bridge to “Midnight Sun.” It is one of her most popular songs, but for good reasons. On TikTok and Instagram, fans seem to enjoy the hip-hop beat and choreography that follows the song, since many fans have uploaded videos of themselves recreating the choreography from her tour.
Larsson’s Midnight Sun Tour is her fifth concert tour in support of her fifth studio album, Midnight Sun. The album features hit A-list pop songs such as “Midnight Sun” and “Pretty Ugly.” The artist has also been gaining popularity for her single “Stateside” featuring artist PinkPantheress, which Larsson has performed multiple times throughout the tour.
In addition, Larsson has updated her wardrobe for her new tour. On her previous tour, the pop star sported silver body-con dresses and suites of many colors. Throughout her previous tours, such as the Poster Girl tour, Larsson stuck to a theme of suits and more muted colors. On her 2025 tour, Larsson revamped her style to follow a theme of bright, vibrant and tropical colors. Some of her new outfits include a white crop top with designs airbrushed onto the shirt paired with a sequin skirt with a draping tail. Another outfit for her new tour is a long sleeve yellow top, followed by a yellow skirt. Her makeup artist has not disappointed this tour either! Larsson shines on stage in eye makeup of all bright colors. With pink, light blue, orange and yellow, and light purple, her makeup artist made her eyes pop on stage, no matter how far away the fans were.
The Midnight Sun Tour began in October 2025 in Munich, Germany. Almost 4 months later, Larsson has performed in 17 different European cities. However, she has also performed for another pop artist Tate McRae, having performed shows as an opening act in LA. Larsson announced her tour dates for the North American leg of the tour one month before the European leg. In the United States, Larsson’s first performance will be in Portland, Oregon on February 28, 2026.
Larsson is familiar with writing hit singles, as her song “Lush Life” is famous for its nostalgic vibe and upbeat tempo. In fact, the song got 27 on BillBoard 100! It is no surprise that Larsson does not hold back when performing “Lush Life” to her audience. Her European audience delightfully posts her performances of the song, making the American fans anticipate her show in the states even more. There is one other song that made Larsson popular online. Her song, “Clean Bandit” became popular on TikTok in 2024, known as the symphony trend. Seminole High School (SHS) student Yosha Kanaparthy says that “Larsson was popular in 2016, and she got popular again for the symphony trend. Her outfits for the new tour have been matching up to the vibe of the symphony trend.” Another SHS student, Alejandro Herrera, believes that “it is fun to see her perform on stage in new outfits, and she has created all new choreography and outfits to match the theme of her new album.”
